Packer Pride

No matter the outcome of this weekends Packers/Falcons Divisonal Playoff mathup or if the Packers go to or win the Super Bowl or not you should have pride in what this team has accomplished and given us fans this season.

Consider this: The Packers have been loaded with injuries which has been well documented. But take a look back at a season that gave the Packers a record of 10-6 and how many of those teams are still in the playoffs.

Of the original 5 playoff teams (other than the Packers), they played 3 of those teams in the regular season: Philadelphia, Atlanta and Chicago.

Of the 7 teams in the NFL playoffs (other than the Packers) this weekend, they played 4 of those teams in the regular season: Atlanta, Chicago, New England, New York Jets.

The strength of schedule on top of the injuries and to be in the position they are at this point in the season should make all Packer fans proud win or lose. Go PACK!!!!!

2011 New Year Predictions

Last year I gave my predictions for the New Year. I did okay and got a few correct. So decided to put a stab at a 2nd annual New Year Predictions and here you go:

1. New England Patriots win the Super Bowl over Atlanta Falcons

2. Milwaukee Brewers win the NL Central for an All Star season from Zach Greinke

3. The economy will finally turn around and show signs of strength. Unemployment goes down to 9 percent.

4. Lindsay Lohan appears as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.

5. The new judges on American Idol are NOT a hit and the series folds. (I know I mentioned it would fold last year but it will happen soon.)

I will be honest this year was a lot more difficult so we will see at the end of the year how I did.
